Training

Training Contact:
For questions regarding training at Fort Mill Rescue, contact our Training Coordinator.

Monthly Business Meetings:
Monthly Fort Mill Rescue Business and Training meetings will be held the second Monday of each month at the Fort Mill Rescue Training Center. The training Center is located in the old Banks Street School at 513 Banks Street in Fort Mill. These meetings run from 2-3 hours from 7pm.
If you are interested in finding out more about Fort Mill Rescue or joining our squad, please stop by and introduce yourself at one of our monthly meetings. We would look forward to meeting you and introducing you to Fort Mill Rescue.

EMT "In-Service" Training:
Fort Mill Rescue holds in-service training for our certified members to give state approved training for recertification CEU hours. These are held monthly at the Fort Mill Rescue Training Center. The schedule and class are available to our full time members on the member only portion of this site.

Rescue Technician Training:
The Rescue Tech team at Fort Mill Rescue is responsible for responding to rescue calls within Fort Mill and in support of York County as needed. This team has members training in Auto Extrication, Ropes Rescue, Water Rescue (swift and open), Trench Rescue, and Search and Rescue. This team focuses on these diciplines and holds monthly training classes. For additional information contact our Rescue Tech Coordinator.

Community Training:
Fort Mill Rescue does not currently conduct CPR or other training for the general public. Please feel free to contact us if you do have special training needs.
